Dr. Michael Haynes was born and raised in Daytona Beach. He graduated from Seabreeze High School and proceeded to Florida State University. He did his graduate studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston and his post-graduate internship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. He has been a local optometric physician since 1983. He is an active member of the AOA, the FOA and the Volusia-Seminole Optometric Association. He is board certified by the National Board of Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry. He is a guest lecturer at many civic and community organizations on cataracts, glaucoma, refractive surgery and lasers. He brings to the team an extensive knowledge of ocular pathology and has been actively involved with refractive surgery patient care and research since 1982. In addition, he is skilled in primary eye care, contact lens fitting, visual and ocular health assessment and general patient care.


Dr. Gregory T. Kipp is a born local of Daytona. He attended Seabreeze High School and graduated from Florida State University. He received his doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Kipp is a third-generation optometrist. His great-uncle Dr. Kenneth West came to Daytona Beach in the late 1920s and practiced on Beach Street. Dr. Kipp’s father, Dr. Richard Kipp, joined his uncle in 1947. Dr. Richard Kipp has practiced on Ballough Road in Daytona since the early 1960s. As destiny would have it, Dr. Gregory Kipp joined his father in practice in 1977. He is certified by the Florida Board of Optometry. He has been a trusted local family physician in the community ever since.


Dr.Donald Purcell, O.D.  is a Florida Board Certified Optometric Physician practicing full scope optometry. Amongst the scope of his profession, the aspects he finds most rewarding are the diagnosis and management of ocular complications related to systemic diseases, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and multifocal and astigmatic contact lens fitting. Dr. Purcell attended Stetson University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry in 1996 as a member of the Chemistry Honor Society. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2000. Dr. Purcell is affiliated with the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association. In his spare time, Dr. Purcell loves to spend time with his wife, Colleen, and his two young sons, Liam and Brady. He is active in his church, enjoys fishing, and anything related to surfing.


Dr.Kimberly Menza, O.D. was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She did her undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago, and then received her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. She then moved to Daytona Beach, to complete her residency in primary care at the William Chappell Jr. VA outpatient clinic. She has been practicing locally since 2009, and is board certified by the National Board of Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry. Dr. Menza is an active member of the AOA, and is the current president of the Volusia County Optometric Society. She has had the privilege of being a guest lecturer at many events, including continuing education lectures on ocular disease and contact lenses. Some of her published work includes research on ocular surface squamous neoplasia, retinal vein occlusions, corneal chemical burns, and difficult contact lens cases. She is recently married to a local teacher/football coach, and resides in Ormond Beach.

Dr. Kourosh Nazari, MD, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. He grew up in Miami. After finishing college in South Florida, he moved to Georgia to attend the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. He completed his training in ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh. He received oculoplastic and orbital training at the University of Pittsburgh, which is recognized for its specialization in this field of ophthalmology. During his training, Dr. Nazari received extensive training in orbital tumors, thyroid eye disease and eyelid surgery. In the years following his training, Dr. Nazari has performed thousands of oculoplastic and orbital surgeries in Central Florida. He has traveled abroad and tutored surgeons overseas in performing oculoplastic and orbital surgery. During his travels, he has performed surgeries on patients with rare congenital diseases and complex traumatic injuries, such as burns and lacerations.
